This cap is the reproduction of the original vintage United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) Cap, Mechanics, Winter, Type A-4.

Style : Casual Fashion / A replica of the original vintage WW2 USAAF A-4 Mechanics Wool Watch Cap (A4 US Olive green mechanics wool hat). These are officially called "Cap, Mechanics, Winter, Type A-4".

Material : 100% worsted wool. Made from top quality worsted wool. The A-4 is a simple plain weave knit hat, made from an Olive green, 100% wool yarn.

Construction : Featuring single layer construction with a thicker weave in the body and a more compact weave at the top peak. Plain weave with form fitted crown. The design is precisely matched to the original construction, with the unique 6 petal crown design to ensure a neat fit and appearance which hugs the contour of the head.

Other details : Exact reproduction woven spec. label correctly sewn to the inside of the cap. It features a medium profile with a fold-up brim for double layering at the ears. Six darts crown. The peak is sewn closed in 6 sections.
