This long sleeve pLain sweatshirt is made in Japan and produced by Toyo Enterprises under a license from Whitesville USA. The Whitesville label, a division of Toyo Enterprise in Japan, is famous around the world for its expertly-crafted a reproduction of american vintage sportswear. The whitesville brand is a now-defunct sportswear label that originally existed in the good old days of America. And the whitesville brand was resurrected by the Toyo Enterprises in Japan. Body pattern is inspired by the American vintage sweatshirt. This sweatshirt features tubular knit loopwheel construction with no side seams, 100% cotton heavyweigt loop-wheeled sweatshirt fabric with a brushed backing, cover stitch self-fabric crew-neckband, double layer V-Insert on the front and back neck, four needle flatlock seam stitchings, longer ribbed cuff and waistband and set-in-sleeve. It is perfect to wear alone (outerwear sweatshirt) or as a layering (underneath other clothing). This sweatshirt is new original creations by Whitesville from Toyo Enterprises.

Fit : This product is USA and EU standard size. This sweatshirt is cut to wear as a classic Regular-Fit, (NOT too Slim or NOT too Loose) with short in the body length for a more old-fashioned look. This short fit sweatshirt is made to fit shorter torsos but still have the comfortably extra room through the chest for a more old-fashioned look. This sweatshirt is NOT intended to be worn slim. Fits may vary by style or personal preference.

Our model wears a tagged size S(US/EU S/36) and is 175 cm/5'9″tall, 59 kg/130 lbs and 91 cm/36" chest. He normally wears size US/EU S/36.

Fabric : Made from 100% cotton loop-wheeled sweatshirt fabric with a soft brushed backing. Heavyweight with extra soft handle. Heavyweight fleece cotton fabricated on 4-needle loop-wheel looms. It combines durability and the natural softness for comfort. And the fabric will also develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear. This item is washed for a fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage.

Body : Tubular construction (No side seam construction). Made on vintage looms which knit the fabric in a seamless continuous tube known as loop-wheeling. The fabric is produced with minimal tension during knitting process and lack of seams means the garment will keep its shape through wear and washing. It combines durability and the natural softness for comfort. Vintage looms are special machines that are able to knit a perfect tube, but they can only knit one set diameter (size) per loom, so a loom for each size is required. This is why one hardly ever sees perfect tube construction in modern day garments. It ensures true shape is maintained not only during its construction but during its life of wear.

Collar : Ribbed crew neck with bound neck (cover stitch neckband) with double stitching. It used for the neck to prevent overstretching. Double layer V-Insert (V-gusset stitching, V-Stitch, V-Insert) on the front and back neck for the fashionable vintage feel and look.
