The denim is unsanforized (not pre-shrunk), unsinged (the surface fibers have not been burned off), and made without anti-twist processing - resulting in a textured fabric that ages beautifully with wear. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will develop more visible hairy fibers, and the legs will naturally twist along the direction of the twill line, giving them a vintage, old-fashioned appearance. As part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage. Selvage details along the interior outseam and inside the coin pocket. A leather patch on the back right side of the waistband. The more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully.
