This long sleeve plain black chambray shirt is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) William Gibson Collection from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of this solid color long sleeve button up shirt is inspired by the iconic US Navy utility blue chambray work shirt worn by sailors from the 1950s with classic design, but this basic black shirt has been re-designed with the Buzz Rickson's brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. This simple black chambray shirt is a modified version of Vintage US Navy Chambray Work Shirt for those who want the look of the original, and this shirt has replaced the blue chambray fabric with a black chambray fabric. Made of a 100% cotton, unlined, single-ply, non-stretch, light-weight chambray fabric woven with black yarns in both the warp and weft to create deep shade of black, which has a slubby, dry feel, crispy texture and sophisticated wrinkles on the face of the fabric. And this blank black chambray shirt features a front closure with six urea buttons, two chest patch pockets with button closure, back yoke, side selvage gussets on shirt hem and the chainstitch runoff which hang from the side seam on hem. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Buzz Rickson. This product is US and EU size. Fabric Type : Made of a 100% cotton, unlined, single-ply, non-stretch, light-weight chambray fabric woven with black yarns in both the warp and weft to create deep shade of black, which has a slubby, dry feel, crispy texture and sophisticated wrinkles on the face of the fabric. This shirt is woven by an old loom at low tension, giving it a classic work shirt look which cannot be replicated by any other contemporary industrial looms. And this shirt is washed once for a fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. The more you wear, the more fabric will continue to get softer and cozier.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. Buttons are 2-holes urea buttons.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance.

Bottom hem type : Rounded shirttails with side selvage gussets. Curved hem ( shirt tail ). Side selvage gussets on shirt hem and the chainstitch runoff which hang from the side seam on hem. A gusset is a piece of fabric which adds durability to a section of a garment. For this shirt, gussets are seen at the point where the side seams meet the hem. The chainstitch runoff (double twisted threads which hang from the side seam on hem). This detail can be seen on rare vintage workwear shirts as well as modern reproductions.

Pocket : Two chest patch pockets with button closure. Two chest pockets with rounded lower corners.

Yoke type : Straight back yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.

Back of the Shirt : No pleats for easy ironing and clean lines.
